“An exhibition that sensitizes all visitors to the beauty of the Eifel region.” TRIAD Berlin fulfills this wish of the Eifel National Park Center with the barrier-free, family-friendly, and multilingual permanent exhibition “Wildnis(t)räume” (Dreams of Wilderness).

The exhibition, which is sponsored by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Federal Foundation for the Environment) and has been honored as an official project of the UN Decade for Biological Diversity, conveys the special features of the nature reserve while also taking up global aspects of environmental protection. With numerous interactive, tactile, and olfactory exhibits, the topics of biodiversity, wilderness, and national parks are presented in a varied and experience-oriented dramaturgy according to the principles of “Education for Sustainable Development.” In interaction with multimedia elements such as 3D films and projection mapping, surprising and sensual perspectives of nature are created.

A tactile paving system leads the way through the seven parts of the exhibition, which are also easily accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. All content is available to visitors in plain language, in sign language, and as an audio description. The “Travel for All” certificate confirms the implementation of barrier-free accessibility in all areas.
