On February 28, 2016, the FIFA World Football Museum opened its gates in Zurich. A few days earlier the press could get a first glimpse inside the new museum. One of the highlights: Two-time world champions Cafu (Brazil, 1994 and 2002) and Renate Lingor (Germany, 2003 and 2007) have unveiled the FIFA World Cup Trophy and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy.
Over a period of five years, the creative agency TRIAD Berlin collaborated with the team of the FIFA World Football Museum to create the contents, design, and dramaturgy of the 3,000-sqm exhibition. Moreover, TRIAD Berlin was responsible for construction management, technical planning, and general contracting.
With more than 1,000 unique exhibits, the museum offers an interactive multimedia experience allowing visitors to see, feel, and hear how football creates emotions across the globe and provides people with excitement, inspiration, and a sense of unity. We are proud of the result and very happy about the worldwide media response.
