The newly designed GS1 Germany Knowledge Center in Cologne exhibits digital value networks and future consumer worlds. In an area of around 1,000 square meters, TRIAD Berlin developed a visitor experience for the live presentation of the value chain as well as a shopper journey in the supermarket of the future. In doing so, TRIAD implemented exceptional creative spaces in order to conceptualize the future of the retail industry.
The focus is on innovations for digital production chains and supply chains like hidden codes, intelligent household helpers and digital personal assistants. High-tech robots and virtual guides escort visitors through the experience spaces. Multimedia applications make the stages of the value chain tangible, all the way from raw material producers to the consumer. At multimedia columns further information about the GS1 solutions can be interactively called up. What is more, inspirational rooms invite guests to develop their own ideas and transform them into concrete prototypes. The separate business area offers the opportunity for networking and conferences.
With the GS1 Germany Knowledge Center an unparalleled innovation, training, and competence center has come into being that stands for the transfer of knowledge and creative impulses. Every year since its launch nearly 25,000 corporate representatives have come together at the center.
